  • Our rates vary depending on the project. Factors like project complexity, number of episodes, and length of a potential contract impact what we might charge. For more information or a quote, reach out and tell us about your project. Contact us

  • If you want to work with one of our principals, Eliza or Jacob, we charge an hourly rate to consult on your project. For podcast production, we charge a flat rate, either by project or episode.

  • This depends on the kind of show you want to make. If you want to make a highly-produced, scripted fiction show, or a deeply reported investigative show, production timelines can stretch beyond a year. However, if you want to make a conversational podcast, or if you’d like to adapt longform articles from your site into audio pieces, we can start production and launch in a few months. We suggest factoring in a few months before launching for creative development, piloting, and banking an episode or two… or three or four.

  • In all instances, a longer lead time enables us to ensure each episode meets journalistic standards and our own production standards of excellence.

Turnaround varies from show to show, depending on the structure and type of show. Generally, a thoughtfully produced, edited, and fact-checked two-way interview can take around two weeks up to one month to produce; however, we can produce some shows with very fast turnarounds, including weekly episodes. When quick production timelines are needed, we like to work with your team to figure out which production management strategies will help us meet our deadlines without scrambling.

If we’re working on a scripted fiction show, or an investigative podcast, episodes can take much longer to produce, on the scale of months to a year or more. This depends on many factors, including number of rounds of edits, to how much reporting is necessary. We know from experience that telling complex, nuanced stories takes time.

  • We’ve been lucky enough to work with clients from a bunch of different industries, from tech to fashion to the literary world. Our clients may be large, corporate teams, or individuals who are passionate about promoting their work and their brands. We love taking on different projects with all kinds of folks—we just love making audio!

  • Microphones, headphones, field recorders, audio interfaces… there are so many options available. Typically, we provide remote recording kits for hosts and guests, taking the onus off your plate. We have been testing out various makes and models for years and have narrowed our choices down to items that are best for the specific circumstances of each project. We also provide setup and training to ensure the equipment, and you, sound as great as possible.

  • This depends on your marketing goals and metrics for success. Each client has different objectives, so we suggest different release cadences for each project. We release some podcasts once a week, every week. Others are released biweekly with limited runs.

We can help you determine what your goals are—from audience growth to brand awareness and beyond—and figure out a release cadence that best fits your objectives. Get in touch
